VBC Wins Close Race at Occoquan Chase

OCCOQUAN, VA October 12, 2008 - VBC's Leed Nudd put in another stellar performance in his single at this year's 2008 Occoquan Chase.  Leeds' time (18:39.1433) was fast enough to edge out Penn AC's Joe Spencer (18:40.8433) by over a second, followed by Rivanna Rowing Club (19:16.0700), Potomac Boat Club (19:18.8200), and others.

Leeds will continue the season at Head of the Hooch, followed by Head of the South, and finishing the season at the USRowing Fall Speed Order as part of the national team selection process.
