Sweep Rowing at Rockett's Landing and Robious Landing
2024 Season
The Virginia Boat Club Masters sweep program is offered at both Rockett's Landing and Robious Landing. The sessions are typically coached but can depend on coaching staff availability. Both competitive and recreational VBC Members are welcome and are able to row both locations. There are no mandatory practices; rowers may sign up for as many sessions as they like.
Rocketts Landing Practice schedule
- Tuesdays 5:45-7:45 PM
- Thursdays 5:45-745 PM
- Saturdays 7:45 -945 AM
Robious Landing Practice Schedule
- Mondays 6:00-8:00 PM
- Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 PM
- Saturdays 7:30-9:30 AM
Evening rowing ends after the time change and Saturdays can continue as long as the docks are out. The docks at both locations are removed for the winter. A sculling dock may be available at Rocketts landing throughout the year.
